Dos Pochotes is just steps from the best surf-break in Nosara in the heart of the beautiful Playa Guioness. The waves are almost always playful and fun for all levels of surfers and swimmers.
With Bodhi Tree and Blue Spirit nearby, there are always plenty of great yoga classes available.
There are also lots of other activities to enjoy. From Kayaking and stand-up Paddle boarding, to bird watching and hiking. You can go see the Sea Turtles laying their eggs. Or just kick back and enjoy a Pina Colada, or a local Cerveza in your comfortable hammock. But one thing is for sure, you won’t want to miss the sunset. Whether you choose to paddle out on your board and watch the sky turn every possible shade of yellow, red, orange, and purple from in the water, ride the beach on horseback, or sit and relax on the beach in the warm sand and enjoy a beverage, each sunset over the Pacific in Nosara is a reminder that the best things in life are free….
With monkeys swaying from tree to tree in the jungle of your backyard, you feel far away from all. Yet you are close to all that you might need and therefore have no need for a car. There is little market only two minutes away that carries all the food and basic supplies you might need. (Fresh fruits and vegetables, sunscreen and Aloe, chips and dips, bug-spray, almond butter, bananas, batteries, cereal, milk, beer, beans, bread….etc etc etc)
There are plenty of quaint restaurants nearby, The Gilded Iguana, Kaya Sol, Casa Romantica, The Harmony Hotel, Cafe Paris or Rosie’s, just to name a few.
The house has two bedrooms with Queen size beds, and two bathrooms, a cute living space, and kitchen fully equipped to cook your own meals. Perhaps a fresh piece of fish caught that day in Garza or Playa Pelada, or some delicious vegetables from the local farmer’s market.
There is plenty of outdoor space with hammocks and a dining table.
To get to Nosara, you can fly to either San Jose or Liberia. From both of those international airports you can schedule a small plane at Sansa Airlines (apprx 30-40 min flights). From Liberia the drive is about 2 1/2 hrs and from San Jose about 41/2 hrs. There are busses and taxis available as well. Email me for further information.
